01 / Overview
Mounts on the bow of a boat or dinghy (transom adapter available). The 2025 v.2 revision adds a new prop with a rotor guard collar, a quieter gearbox, a remote with tactile buttons and an Anderson quick-connect power cable.
The included wireless remote rotates the motor a full 360° — steer from anywhere on board. The remote runs several hours per charge; charger included.
The 10-step maximizer smoothly modulates prop speed and extends battery runtime up to 5× versus a classic gear switch — essential for trolling.
The stow-away base folds flat in seconds, and a 3-LED gauge protects the battery from discharging below 10.5 V.

06 / FAQ
Which battery fits the Cayman 55B v.2?+
The recommended battery is min. 100 Ah Gel / Li-ion 3S / LiFePO4 4S. For a precise runtime estimate at a given capacity, use the battery calculator.
Which fuse should I use?+
This motor draws up to ~50 A at full throttle, so the recommended fuse rating is 60 A (AGU-type or resettable) — in practice, round up to the nearest size available.
How do I choose the right shaft length for my boat?+
This model ships with a 137 cm (opcje 120/149/152) shaft. For the general sizing rule (transom or gunwale height → shaft length) see the sizing table on this page — Haswing motors also offer depth adjustment along the full shaft length, so a small mismatch is rarely a dealbreaker.
Does the motor run in salt water?+
Yes — the entire Haswing range runs in both fresh and salt water. After a season in salt water, rinse the shaft and prop with fresh water.
How does the wireless remote work?+
The remote is paired with the motor at the factory — it works straight out of the box, no setup required. Range covers the whole boat and then some (around ten metres or more), and the remote’s built-in battery runs several to a dozen or so hours per charge, with the charger included.
