01 / Overview
The refreshed v.2 (2025) Protruar 2.0S: a new prop with an extra guard collar on the rotor’s inner side, quieter running thanks to a redesigned rotor housing, and electronics with higher voltage tolerance, ready for lithium batteries.
The motor has a safety kill switch — pulling it cuts the drive instantly, a real safeguard if the driver goes overboard. The brushless drive with the prop mounted on the motor shaft runs quiet and efficient.
The digital maximizer delivers smooth, stepless speed control and extends battery runtime up to five times versus a classic gear switch — essential for trolling.
The telescopic tiller adjusts over 35 cm and 180° of tilt, and folds down flat for transport. The universal transom bracket (heat-resistant material) offers 10 mounting positions and adjustment along the full column length — for transom boards up to 68 mm thick. The aluminium column runs in fresh and salt water, and a 3-LED gauge guards the 12 V battery against discharge.

06 / FAQ
Which battery fits the Protruar 2.0S?+
The recommended battery is min. 100 Ah Gel / Li-ion 3S / LiFePO4 4S. For a precise runtime estimate at a given capacity, use the battery calculator.
Which fuse should I use?+
This motor draws up to ~60 A at full throttle, so the recommended fuse rating is 70 A (AGU-type or resettable) — in practice, round up to the nearest size available.
How do I choose the right shaft length for my boat?+
This model ships with a 90 cm (aluminiowa) shaft. For the general sizing rule (transom or gunwale height → shaft length) see the sizing table on this page — Haswing motors also offer depth adjustment along the full shaft length, so a small mismatch is rarely a dealbreaker.
Does the motor run in salt water?+
Yes — the entire Haswing range runs in both fresh and salt water. After a season in salt water, rinse the shaft and prop with fresh water.
