01 / Overview
The Ultima line extended to 48 V — noticeably stronger than the 3.0 (150 lbs / 2070 W versus 65–110 lbs / 480–1030 W). A complete kit: motor, 30Ah/48V lithium-polymer battery and charger, the same sales approach as the 3.0.
Two shaft lengths: S-54cm and L-63cm. The brushless motor has stepless speed control (maximizer) — max mode reaches 8km/h and about 16km range (2h runtime), min mode 2km/h and about 40km range (8h runtime); figures depend on the boat, load and conditions.
A 24–40cm/180° telescopic tiller and a metal bracket with 7 tilt angles and four trim positions. The 3-blade Ø 27.2cm prop runs at 1420rpm. Runs in fresh and salt water. Currently at announcement stage — status "coming soon" — price and spec subject to confirmation at launch.

Which battery fits the Ultima 4.0?+
The recommended battery is Included — 30 Ah / 48 V Li-Po (~8 kg). For a precise runtime estimate at a given capacity, use the battery calculator.
Which fuse should I use?+
This motor draws up to ~38 A at full throttle, so the recommended fuse rating is 48 A (AGU-type or resettable) — in practice, round up to the nearest size available.
How do I choose the right shaft length for my boat?+
This model ships with a 54 cm (S) / 63 cm (L), aluminiowa shaft. For the general sizing rule (transom or gunwale height → shaft length) see the sizing table on this page — Haswing motors also offer depth adjustment along the full shaft length, so a small mismatch is rarely a dealbreaker.
Does the motor run in salt water?+
Yes — the entire Haswing range runs in both fresh and salt water. After a season in salt water, rinse the shaft and prop with fresh water.
