01 / Overview
The smallest motor in the Haswing range — its low weight and compact size make it easy to carry and transport. Built for small boats, dinghies and kayaks up to 3 metres, with exceptionally low current draw (~17 A).
A 2-forward/2-reverse gear switch gives stepped control — no maximizer, unlike the Protruar line. A 3-LED gauge is scaled to 12 V. The tiller adjusts across 110° and folds flat down for transport.
The universal transom bracket, resistant to heat deformation, adjusts from 0° to 90°. The 2-blade Ø 15cm prop spins at 1200 rpm. Runs in fresh and salt water.

06 / FAQ
Which battery fits the W-20?+
The recommended battery is min. 20 Ah gel / Li-ion / LiFePO4. For a precise runtime estimate at a given capacity, use the battery calculator.
Which fuse should I use?+
This motor draws up to ~17 A at full throttle, so the recommended fuse rating is 27 A (AGU-type or resettable) — in practice, round up to the nearest size available.
How do I choose the right shaft length for my boat?+
This model ships with a 60 cm shaft. For the general sizing rule (transom or gunwale height → shaft length) see the sizing table on this page — Haswing motors also offer depth adjustment along the full shaft length, so a small mismatch is rarely a dealbreaker.
Does the motor run in salt water?+
Yes — the entire Haswing range runs in both fresh and salt water. After a season in salt water, rinse the shaft and prop with fresh water.
